“Funeral for a Home” featured on NPR


“Funeral for a Home†is one of the more unique oral history projects in the mid-Atlantic region.

The project teams artists with oral historians to document the lives of all the families that lived in a single home over the course of its existence, and then commemorate the home with a funeral before it’s demolished.

The project was featured at OHMAR’s 2014 annual meeting in Philadelphia, and recently was featured on NPR’s “All Things Consideredâ€:
