Join OHMAR and the DC History Center for a FREE conference in Washington, DC. On Thursday, April 3, join us at the DC History Center for a special Oral History Symposium. Then, the DC History Conference continues Friday, April 4-Sunday, April 6 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.

This special symposium highlights community-based oral history, hosted by the DC History Center in partnership with OHMAR. With sessions throughout the day, there are additional learning opportunities including a walking tour and evening workshop.

 

DC History Conference Continues

The conference features more than 38 panels, keynotes, walking tours, and poster presentations. The content of the program is as wide-ranging as ever, covering important topics such as oral history, activism and advocacy, LGBTQ+ communities, housing, education, environment, theater, sports, and more.
